Bedford Basketball will be hosting a Golf Scramble fundraising event on Sunday, October 12.

More information will follow soon.

A 3-on-3 Basketball tournament will be held at St. Joe's (Erie) on August 31. Brackets are available for 11U, 12-14, 15-17, 18-29, and 30+.

The entry deadline is 8/28. Entry fee is $85, or $55 for 11U players. Each team is guaranteed two games.

The Steve Mix Academy is offering a great program, The Diebler Workout, which is intended to help you develop as a skilled, aggressive, offensive player. This is a one-day program for boys in grades 6-12 and takes place on Saturday, September 6.

The Steve Mix Academy is also offering a very popular program that will help you in those important areas of your development. The Shooting, Ball Handling and Conditioning program begins the week of September 7th, and is run on Mondays and Thursdays.

  • Pic 1All boys entering high school who are interested in playing Bedford Basketball are highly encouraged to attend Open Gyms and Conditioning. As the coaches explained in the meeting at the end of the school year, you should consider yourself to be taking part in tryouts starting NOW.
  • Field Goal and Free Throw Percentage, Rebounding, and Assist/Turnover Ratio, along with Coachability, will be the key factors in team selection for the 2008-2009 season.
  • Statistics and summer attendance will be posted on this website. This is your chance to push yourself to the next level.

  • Pic 2Bedford Basketball is excited to annouce that are adding a second team for both the 7th and the 8th grades this year. This allows us to double the number of boys that will be able to play Junior High basketball. We feel this is a critical component in providing more competitive basketball at the high school level.
